The very kind and supportive InionNMathair nominated me for a blog award. How exciting!!! It’s such a great feeling to open an email and see a fellow blogger that I respect say “we nominated you” 🙂 Thank you SO much InionNMathair!!!
You can read about Inionnmathair and their post on being nominated. They definitely deserve it! And if you haven’t been to their blog, this mother/daughter writing team is worth a visit. You’ll be glad you did!
What are the rules for the Reality Award?

- Visit their blog and let them know
- Cut and paste the award to your wall
If you could change one thing, what would it be?
I would have taken my writing seriously when I was much, much younger! If I had, then maybe I would have written my “million words of crap” a long time ago and I’d be writing the good words, maybe even the published words, by now.
If you could repeat an age, what would it be?
When I was in my 20s I thought those were the best years of my life and if I happened to be turned into a vampire, that would be the age for it to happen (okay, so I was reading a LOT of Anne Rice during my 20s). Then I hit my 30s and I thought those were the best years. I have to say, now that I’m in my 40s, I am totally okay with where I am in life and with my age.
But if I had to pick an age to repeat … why not go way back to a time when life was carefree, summers lasted forever & I had just started writing poetry and loved it? I was around 13. Ooh … as soon as I write that age I think, oh no, why would I want to do that? How about 19 … oh no, college, studying, working, no money … what about 26? 30? Okay, this may be a cop-out, but I’m happy right where I am! 🙂
What one thing really scares you?
That I might give up on writing and give in to the doubts or feelings that creep in occasionally that tell me I’m probably wasting my time. Right now, there’s no way I’m going to do that. At least not today!
If you could be someone else for a day, who would it be?
Hmmm, several fictional characters go through my mind: Kitty Pryde (from Xmen/New Mutants), Lara Croft (Tomb Raider), Super Girl.
I think it’s because I can imagine having their powers or skills but still be me. I really can’t think of real person I’d want to be … boring, I know 😉
I’ll be visiting bloggers and letting them know I nominated them for the Reality Award. But let me say again, thanks InionNMathair!!!!! 🙂
