I’ve been meaning to say Thanks to a few (very supportive) blogger friends:

First up, Kate from 4amWriter who nominated me for the One Lovely Blog Award One Lovely Blog Award(such a pretty looking award) back in April. Thank you SO much Kate, I really appreciate the support 🙂

Kate is an excellent writer and has a wonderful blog which I highly encourage you to visit. You will be so glad you did! Kate couldn’t remember the rules for this award – so I don’t have any to follow. How sweet is that? I just get to say Thanks!

Next up is Charissa over at Joy in the Moments who participated in the A to Z Challenge where she had to come up with a blog post every day for every letter of the alphabet. It was a lot of fun seeing what topic she might come up with day after day! For her blog post for the letter X, she made up an award and bestowed it upon me for reading and commenting on all of her posts. I wasn’t the only one but that was very sweet of Char! She called it the X-cellent Award and best of all, it also comes with no rules.

It’s not that I’m lazy – I don’t mind rules or answering questions that typically come with blog awards, but some of those can be tough!

Lastly, Sheila Hurst decided to spotlight a few new(er) blogs by sending her readers our way. Thanks Sheila for including me in the list. I noticed a bump is viewership and for a (fairly) new blogger, it’s a great feeling 🙂

Unexpected Benefits

When I started blogging, I did it because I wanted to force myself to write and to share my writing with others. I never expected the community I would find and become a part of — one that has been so welcoming, supportive and encouraging. I am SO glad I decided to take a chance on blogging. I have made some wonderful blogger friends.

No Rules …

Since I don’t have any rules to follow or questions to answer for my nomination on the One Lovely Blog Award, I won’t bore you with details about me, I’ll just pass on the Award to the following 5 bloggers and hope you take a moment to visit them:

  1. Writing Between the Lines – great photo and writing blog. You will be impressed!
  2. Kourtney Heintz – just published her book “The Six Train to Wisconsin,” which is now on my To Read list, and a fellow Connecticut resident.
  3. Miss Four Eyes – very funny blog with the cutest drawings!
  4. Novel Conclusions – another great blog about writing and her experience with the process.
  5. JM McDowell – One of my favorite blogs! I can’t remember if I’ve ever nominated JM for an award or not, but if I didn’t, I don’t know how I could have missed her.

One last, but important comment:

Thanks to anyone who has taken the time to read what I’ve written here. I really appreciate the visit, the Like and the comments! They go a long way for me, so …

Thank You written in many languages
